  13  Wherefore, I call upon the weak things of the world, those who are unlearned and despised, to thresh the nations by the power of my Spirit;

  1  Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you, my servant Joseph Smith, I am well pleased with your offering and acknowledgments, which you have made; for unto this end have I raised you up, that I might show forth my wisdom through the weak things of the earth.

  25  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast drevealed them unto babes.

  27  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to bconfound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

  23  And now, he imparteth his word by angels unto men, yea, not only men but women also. Now this is not all; little children do have words given unto them many times, which cconfound the wise and the learned.

  7  And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth cconfound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.
