3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

  2  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

  13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The ^cWord of God.

  9  For behold, by the power of his ^aword man came upon the face of the earth, which earth was created by the power of his word. Wherefore, if God being able to speak and the world was, and to speak and man was created, O then, why not able to command the earth, or the workmanship of his hands upon the face of it, according to his will and pleasure?

  1  And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Moses, saying: Behold, I reveal unto you concerning this heaven, and this earth; write the words which I speak. I am the Beginning and the End, the Almighty God; by mine ^fOnly Begotten I created these things; yea, in the beginning I created the heaven, and the earth upon which thou standest.

  7  And then the angel spake, saying: This thing is a similitude of the sacrifice of the Only Begotten of the Father, which is full of ^cgrace and truth.

  5  And I, God, called the light Day; and the darkness, I called Night; and this I did by the ^aword of my power, and it was done as I spake; and the evening and the morning were the first day.
