11  He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two ^acoats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

  16  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye ^agive them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

  30  And behold, thou wilt remember the poor, and consecrate of thy properties for their support that which thou hast to impart unto them, with a covenant and a deed which cannot be broken.

  12  Because I delivered the ^apoor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

  21  He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the ^apoor, happy is he.

  26  And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you—that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God—I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants.

  40  And remember in all things the ^apoor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted, for he that doeth not these things, the same is not my disciple.

  23  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
