13  I give thee charge in the sight of God, who ^aquickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

  20  And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

  16  But it must needs be done in mine own way; and behold this is the way that I, the Lord, have decreed to provide for my saints, that the ^bpoor shall be exalted, in that the rich are made low.

  3  Seek ye the Lord, all ye ^ameek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.

  5  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

  20  And this shall be my covenant with you, ye shall have it for the land of your inheritance, and for the inheritance of your children forever, while the earth shall stand, and ye shall possess it again in eternity, no more to pass away.

  1  Better is the ^apoor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

  3  Blessed are the ^bpoor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
