2  And they had viewed themselves in their own carnal state, even less than the dust of the earth. And they all cried aloud with one voice, saying: O have mercy, and apply the atoning blood of Christ that we may receive forgiveness of our sins, and our hearts may be purified; for we believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who created heaven and earth, and all things; who shall come down among the children of men.

  11  But behold, I will show unto you a God of miracles, even the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and it is that same God who created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are.

  24  That by ^ahim, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.

  4  And declared to be the ^bSon of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

  26  I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the ^aliving God, and steadfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

  6  But behold, I trust that ye are not in a state of so much unbelief as were your brethren; I trust that ye are not lifted up in the pride of your hearts; yea, I trust that ye have not set your hearts upon riches and the vain things of the world; yea, I trust that you do not worship idols, but that ye do worship the true and the living God, and that ye look forward for the remission of your sins, with an everlasting faith, which is to come.

  19  And gave unto them commandments that they should love and serve him, the only ^cliving and true God, and that he should be the only being whom they should worship.

  22  Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O Lord our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast ^cmade all these things.

  24  And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and ^aearth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
