9  And as one generation hath been destroyed among the Jews because of iniquity, even so have they been destroyed from generation to generation according to their iniquities; and never hath any of them been destroyed save it were foretold them by the prophets of the Lord.

  20  Behold, I tell you these things, even as I also ^atold the people of the destruction of Jerusalem; and my word shall be verified at this time as it hath hitherto been verified.

  5  And he spake also concerning the house of Israel, and the Jerusalem from whence ^bLehi should come—after it should be destroyed it should be built up again, a holy city unto the Lord; wherefore, it could not be a new Jerusalem for it had been in a time of old; but it should be built up again, and become a holy city of the Lord; and it should be built unto the house of Israel—
