1 Nephi 17:35
35 Behold, the Lord esteemeth all aflesh in one; he that is brighteous is cfavored of God. But behold, this dpeople had rejected every word of God, and they were ripe in iniquity; and the fulness of the wrath of God was upon them; and the Lord did curse the land against them, and bless it unto our fathers; yea, he did curse it against them unto their destruction, and he did bless it unto our fathers unto their obtaining power over it.

15  And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou bcommon.

11  For there is no respect of bpersons with God.

33  For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, ebond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

22  Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the brighteous to be moved.

10  If ye akeep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

17  Wherefore, he will preserve the brighteous by his power, even if it so be that the fulness of his wrath must come, and the righteous be preserved, even unto the destruction of their enemies by fire. Wherefore, the righteous need not fear; for thus saith the prophet, they shall be saved, even if it so be as by fire.

30  Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that chonour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

3  And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest cprosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

10  Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he cpreserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

20  The Lord apreserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

4  And thus they have been called to this holy calling on account of their faith, while others would reject the Spirit of God on account of the hardness of their hearts and blindness of their minds, while, if it had not been for this they might have had as great cprivilege as their brethren.

13  And thus we see how great the ainequality of man is because of sin and transgression, and the power of the devil, which comes by the cunning plans which he hath devised to ensnare the hearts of men.

10  I, the Lord, am abound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise.

16  But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet cfull.

31  And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the finhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

10  And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to bdestroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

24  And they said unto Joshua, Truly the Lord hath adelivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

34  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no arespecter of persons:

18  And I beheld that the power of God was with them, and also that the wrath of God was upon all those that were gathered together aagainst them to battle.

28  Behold, hath the Lord commanded any that they should not partake of his goodness? Behold I say unto you, Nay; but all men are privileged the one blike unto the other, and none are forbidden.

20  And thus they went forth, and the people did humble themselves because of their words, insomuch that they were highly cfavored of the Lord, and thus they were free from wars and contentions among themselves, yea, even for the space of four years.

13  And Morianton did live to an exceedingly great age, and then he begat Kim; and Kim did reign in the stead of his father; and he did reign eight years, and his father died. And it came to pass that Kim did anot reign in righteousness, wherefore he was not favored of the Lord.
