2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

  17  Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the ^bdevil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men.

  31  For ^aSatan shall be bound, and when he is loosed again he shall only reign for a little season, and then cometh the end of the earth.

  55  And Satan shall be bound, that he shall have no place in the hearts of the children of men.

  110  And so on, until the seventh angel shall sound his trump; and he shall stand forth upon the land and upon the sea, and swear in the name of him who sitteth upon the throne, that there shall be time no longer; and ^dSatan shall be bound, that old serpent, who is called the devil, and shall not be loosed for the space of a thousand years.

  28  And in that day ^aSatan shall not have power to tempt any man.

  76  For behold, for a ^along time will I lay up of the fruit of my vineyard unto mine own self against the season, which speedily cometh; and for the last time have I nourished my vineyard, and pruned it, and dug about it, and dunged it; wherefore I will lay up unto mine own self of the fruit, for a long time, according to that which I have spoken.

  15  Now the cause of this iniquity of the people was this—Satan had great ^bpower, unto the stirring up of the people to do all manner of iniquity, and to the puffing them up with pride, tempting them to seek for power, and authority, and riches, and the vain things of the world.

  8  And if you do these last commandments of mine, which I have given you, the ^bgates of hell shall not prevail against you; for my grace is sufficient for you, and you shall be lifted up at the last day.

  24  Keep all the commandments and covenants by which ye are bound; and I will cause the heavens to shake for your good, and ^dSatan shall tremble and Zion shall rejoice upon the hills and flourish;

  54  And then shall the heathen nations be redeemed, and they that knew no law shall have part in the ^efirst resurrection; and it shall be tolerable for them.
