16  But these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah.

  6  When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.

  26  But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the Lord ^bhid them.

  13  And I was about to write more, but I am forbidden; but great and marvelous were the prophecies of Ether; but they esteemed him as naught, and cast him out; and he ^ahid himself in the cavity of a rock by day, and by night he went forth viewing the things which should come upon the people.

  3  Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and ^ahide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
