2  And it came to pass that the Lord ^acommanded my father, even in a dream, that he should take his family and depart into the wilderness.

  14  And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, ^aget you out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

  7  And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.
