18  For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.

  48  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

  17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

  11  According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

  26  And thus God bringeth about his great and eternal ^apurposes, which were prepared from the foundation of the world. And thus cometh about the salvation and the redemption of men, and also their destruction and misery.

  43  And thus did I, the Lord God, appoint unto man the days of his probation—that by his natural death he might be raised in ^dimmortality unto eternal life, even as many as would believe;

  31  And behold, the glory of the Lord was upon Moses, so that Moses stood in the presence of God, and talked with him face to face. And the Lord God said unto Moses: For mine own ^bpurpose have I made these things. Here is wisdom and it remaineth in me.

  39  For behold, this is my ^awork and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

  20  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and ^cfowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
