1  ^aFor, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

  9  Thou shalt make them as a ^afiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

  6  Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

  16  For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

  15  For behold, saith the prophet, the time cometh speedily that Satan shall have no more power over the hearts of the children of men; for the day soon cometh that all the proud and they who do wickedly shall be as stubble; and the day cometh that they must be ^bburned.

  2  But who may ^aabide the day of his coming, and who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap.

  9  For the hour is nigh and the day soon at hand when the earth is ripe; and all the ^bproud and they that do wickedly shall be as stubble; and I will burn them up, saith the Lord of Hosts, that wickedness shall not be upon the earth;

  23  Behold, now it is called today until the coming of the Son of Man, and verily it is a day of sacrifice, and a day for the tithing of my people; for he that is tithed shall not be ^eburned at his coming.

  64  And also that which was written by the prophet Malachi: For, behold, the day cometh that shall ^cburn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

  37  For behold, the day cometh that shall ^bburn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly shall burn as stubble; for they that come shall burn them, saith the Lord of Hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

  27  For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down ^bhigh looks.

  33  Behold, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts shall lop the bough with terror; and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down; and the ^chaughty shall be humbled.

  5  For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with ^bburning and fuel of fire.

  2  And when that day shall come they shall be visited of the Lord of Hosts, with thunder and with earthquake, and with a great noise, and with storm, and with tempest, and with the ^bflame of devouring fire.

  3  And how blessed are they who have labored diligently in his vineyard; and how cursed are they who shall be cast out into their own place! And the world shall be ^eburned with fire.
