24  For the hearts of many were hardened, and their names were blotted out, that they were remembered no more among the people of God. And also many ^bwithdrew themselves from among them.

  20  And it came to pass that Moroni caused that the work of death should ^acease again among the people. And he took the weapons of war from the Lamanites; and after they had entered into a covenant with him of peace they were suffered to depart into the wilderness.

  44  And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord ^ddelivered all their enemies into their hand.

  3  Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the Lord his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the ^bLord put them under the soles of his feet.

  17  Yea, in the strength of the Lord did we go forth to battle against the Lamanites; for I and my people did cry mightily to the Lord that he would ^bdeliver us out of the hands of our enemies, for we were awakened to a remembrance of the deliverance of our fathers.
