11  And they were handed down from king Benjamin, from generation to generation until they have fallen into my hands. And I, Mormon, pray to God that they may be preserved from this time henceforth. And I know that they will be preserved; for there are great things written upon them, out of which ^bmy people and their brethren shall be judged at the great and last day, according to the word of God which is written.

  25  And he said unto the servant: Look hither and behold the last. Behold, this have I planted in a good spot of ground; and I have nourished it this long time, and only a ^bpart of the tree hath brought forth tame fruit, and the other part of the tree hath brought forth wild fruit; behold, I have nourished this tree like unto the others.

  12  For whom the Lord loveth he ^acorrecteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

  6  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

  1  Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you whom I love, and whom I ^alove I also chasten that their sins may be forgiven, for with the chastisement I prepare a way for their deliverance in all things out of temptation, and I have loved you—
