 21 And now will you dispute that aJerusalem was destroyed? Will ye say that the bsons of Zedekiah were not slain, all except it were cMulek? Yea, and do ye not behold that the seed of Zedekiah are with us, and they were driven out of the land of Jerusalem? But behold, this is not all—

  15  Behold, it came to pass that Mosiah discovered that the people of Zarahemla came out from Jerusalem at the time that bZedekiah, king of Judah, was carried away captive into Babylon.

  7  And they slew the asons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon.

  6  Then the king of Babylon slew the bsons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.

  10  And the king of Babylon slew the asons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.

  22  Thus saith the Lord God; I will also take of the highest abranch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent:

  10  Now the land south was called Lehi, and the land north was called bMulek, which was after the son of Zedekiah; for the Lord did bring Mulek into the land north, and Lehi into the land south.

  2  Know ye that ye are of the ahouse of Israel.

  18  aZedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

  13  And if it so be that we are faithful to him, we shall obtain the land of promise; and ye shall know at some future period that the word of the Lord shall be fulfilled concerning the destruction of cJerusalem; for all things which the Lord hath spoken concerning the destruction of Jerusalem must be fulfilled.

  10  Wherefore, it hath been told them concerning the destruction which should come upon them, immediately after my father left aJerusalem; nevertheless, they hardened their hearts; and according to my prophecy they have been destroyed, save it be those which are carried away captive into Babylon.

  27  Which is my word to the Gentile, that soon it may go to the Jew, of whom the Lamanites are a cremnant, that they may believe the gospel, and look not for a Messiah to come who has already come.
