11  And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people ^aprovoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

  33  And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to ^cprovoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

  30  And notwithstanding they being led, the Lord their God, their Redeemer, going before them, leading them by day and giving light unto them by night, and doing all things for them which were expedient for man to receive, they hardened their hearts and blinded their minds, and reviled against Moses and against the true and living God.

  37  And now, my brethren, seeing we know these things, and they are true, let us repent, and harden not our hearts, that we ^aprovoke not the Lord our God to pull down his wrath upon us in these his second commandments which he has given unto us; but let us enter into the rest of God, which is prepared according to his word.

  18  It is because you have hardened your hearts; yea, ye will not hearken unto the voice of the good shepherd; yea, ye have ^cprovoked him to anger against you.

  27  And whosoever doth not bear his ^across, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
