Omni 1:6  
 6 For the Lord would not suffer, after he had led them out of the land of Jerusalem and kept and preserved them from falling into the hands of their enemies, yea, he would not suffer that the words should not be verified, which he spake unto our fathers, saying that: aInasmuch as ye will not keep my commandments ye shall not bprosper in the land.

  7  And now, my sons, I would that ye should remember to search them diligently, that ye may profit thereby; and I would that ye should keep the commandments of God, that ye may prosper in the land according to the dpromises which the Lord made unto our fathers.

  29  And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not bprosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
