9  And thus being prepared to meet the Lamanites, they did not prosper against us. But the word of the Lord was verified, which he spake unto our fathers, saying that: ^aInasmuch as ye will keep my commandments ye shall prosper in the land.

  7  And now, my sons, I would that ye should remember to search them diligently, that ye may profit thereby; and I would that ye should keep the commandments of God, that ye may prosper in the land according to the ^dpromises which the Lord made unto our fathers.

  29  And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not ^bprosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

  14  And now, when I, Nephi, had heard these words, I remembered the words of the Lord which he spake unto me in the wilderness, saying that: ^aInasmuch as thy seed shall keep my commandments, they shall prosper in the land of promise.
