14  And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord ^afought for Israel.

  15  And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the ^abattle is not yours, but God's.

  1  Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: ^bfight against them that fight against me.

  25  But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

  37  And I, the Lord, would ^afight their battles, and their children's battles, and their children's children's, until they had avenged themselves on all their enemies, to the third and fourth generation.

  1  When thou goest out to ^abattle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
