25  And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name ^aSeth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

  16  And from Enoch to Abel, who was slain by the conspiracy of his brother, who ^creceived the priesthood by the commandments of God, by the hand of his father Adam, who was the first man—

  2  And Adam knew his wife again, and she bare a son, and he called his name Seth. And Adam glorified the name of God; for he said: God hath appointed me another seed, instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

  7  And God sent me before you to ^apreserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

  16  Yea, thus prophesied Joseph: I am sure of this thing, even as I am sure of the promise of Moses; for the Lord hath said unto me, I will ^apreserve thy seed forever.

  10  And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his own ^bimage, and called his name Seth.
