Footnotes   ?

22  For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's afreeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

8  And under this head ye are made afree, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives.

36  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

9  And now, in your epistle you have censured me, but it mattereth not; I am not angry, but do rejoice in the greatness of your heart. I, Pahoran, do not seek for power, save only to retain my judgment-seat that I may preserve the rights and the liberty of my people. My soul standeth fast in that liberty in the which God hath made us cfree.

1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not dentangled again with the yoke of bondage.

9  The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath aclean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
