Footnotes   ?

3  Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the asadness of the countenance the heart is made better.

12  And in that day did the Lord God of hosts call to bweeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:

17  Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, aweep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

9  Be afflicted, and mourn, and bweep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

17  And it came to pass that as I was thus racked with torment, while I was bharrowed up by the memory of my many sins, behold, I remembered also to have heard my father prophesy unto the people concerning the coming of one Jesus Christ, a Son of God, to atone for the sins of the world.

29  And now, my son, I desire that ye should let these things atrouble you no more, and only let your sins trouble you, with that trouble which shall bring you down unto repentance.

13  But behold this my joy was vain, for their asorrowing was not unto repentance, because of the goodness of God; but it was rather the sorrowing of the damned, because the Lord would not always suffer them to take happiness in sin.
