12  For as many as have sinned without ^alaw shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

  2  And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be ^abeaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.

  3  For of him unto whom ^amuch is given much is required; and he who sins against the greater light shall receive the greater condemnation.
