5  Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the ^apoor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

  9  Wherefore, gird up your loins and be prepared. Behold, the ^akingdom is yours, and the enemy shall not overcome.

  2  And it came to pass that after much labor among them, they began to have success among the ^apoor class of people; for behold, they were cast out of the synagogues because of the coarseness of their apparel—

  18  But blessed are the ^apoor who are pure in heart, whose hearts are broken, and whose spirits are contrite, for they shall see the kingdom of God coming in power and great glory unto their deliverance; for the fatness of the earth shall be theirs.

  17  And the redemption of the soul is through him that quickeneth all things, in whose bosom it is decreed that the ^bpoor and the meek of the earth shall inherit it.
