2  And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was ^ctransfigured before them.

  29  And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was ^aaltered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

  14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we ^cbeheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

  16  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were ^beyewitnesses of his majesty.

  30  And when Jesus had spoken these words he came again unto his disciples; and behold they did pray steadfastly, without ceasing, unto him; and he did smile upon them again; and behold they were ^awhite, even as Jesus.

  11  But now mine own eyes have beheld God; but not my natural, but my spiritual eyes, for my natural eyes could not have beheld; for I should have withered and died in his presence; but his glory was upon me; and I beheld his face, for I was ^jtransfigured before him.
