12  Seest thou a man wise in his own ^aconceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

  14  But behold, the Jews were a stiffnecked people; and they despised the words of plainness, and killed the prophets, and sought for things that they could not understand. Wherefore, because of their blindness, which ^fblindness came by looking beyond the mark, they must needs fall; for God hath taken away his plainness from them, and delivered unto them many things which they cannot understand, because they desired it. And because they desired it God hath done it, that they may stumble.

  25  But they shall be gathered again; but they shall remain until the times of the ^bGentiles be fulfilled.

  41  He also quoted the second chapter of Joel, from the twenty-eighth verse to the last. He also said that this was not yet fulfilled, but was soon to be. And he further stated that the fulness of the Gentiles was ^bsoon to come in. He quoted many other passages of scripture, and offered many explanations which cannot be mentioned here.
