11  Thus Solomon ^afinished the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the Lord, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

  16  And I, Nephi, did build a temple; and I did construct it after the manner of the temple of Solomon save it were not built of so many precious things; for they were not to be found upon the land, wherefore, it could not be built like unto Solomon's ^etemple. But the manner of the construction was like unto the temple of Solomon; and the workmanship thereof was exceedingly fine.

  4  And now we ask thee, Holy Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of thy bosom, in whose name alone salvation can be administered to the children of men, we ask thee, O Lord, to accept of this ^ahouse, the workmanship of the hands of us, thy servants, which thou didst command us to build.

  1  But Solomon was building his own ^bhouse thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
