55  And now, they said: We know of a surety that the Lord is ^awith thee, for we know that it is the power of the Lord that has shaken us. And they fell down before me, and were about to worship me, but I would not suffer them, saying: I am thy brother, yea, even thy younger brother; wherefore, worship the Lord thy God, and honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which the Lord thy God shall give thee.

  17  And he said unto Alma: Thou shalt go before this people, and I will go ^awith thee and deliver this people out of bondage.

  4  For I know that thou wast in bonds; yea, and I also know that thou wast stoned for the word's sake; and thou didst bear all these things with patience because the Lord was ^bwith thee; and now thou knowest that the Lord did deliver thee.

  3  And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the ^bmountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

  6  The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this ^amount:
