1  And the Lord said unto Moses, ^bHew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.

  15  And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two ^atables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.

  5  Now it came to pass after Abinadi had spoken these words that the people of king Noah durst not lay their hands on him, for the Spirit of the Lord was upon him; and his face ^ashone with exceeding luster, even as Moses' did while in the mount of Sinai, while speaking with the Lord.

  36  And it came to pass that he turned him about, and behold, he saw through the cloud of darkness the faces of Nephi and Lehi; and behold, they did ^ashine exceedingly, even as the faces of angels. And he beheld that they did lift their eyes to heaven; and they were in the attitude as if talking or lifting their voices to some being whom they beheld.

  3  His eyes were as a flame of fire; the hair of his head was white like the pure snow; his ^bcountenance shone above the brightness of the sun; and his voice was as the sound of the rushing of great waters, even the voice of Jehovah, saying:

  32  Not only was his robe exceedingly white, but his whole person was glorious beyond description, and his countenance truly like ^blightning. The room was exceedingly light, but not so very bright as immediately around his person. When I first looked upon him, I was afraid; but the fear soon left me.
