8  And she spake, saying: Now I know of a surety that the Lord hath commanded my husband to ^bflee into the wilderness; yea, and I also know of a surety that the Lord hath protected my sons, and delivered them out of the hands of Laban, and given them power whereby they could accomplish the thing which the Lord hath commanded them. And after this manner of language did she speak.

  5  Go ye out from Babylon. Be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord.

  21  ^aSeparate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

  6  Flee ^aout of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the Lord's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

  4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come ^bout of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

  45  ^aGet you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
