31  A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a ^acontroversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord.

  2  The Lord hath also a ^acontroversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.

  2  Hear ye, O mountains, the Lord's ^acontroversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the Lord hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
