2  And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and ^aglean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

  8  Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to ^aglean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

  26  And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you—that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God—I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants.

  31  And inasmuch as ye impart of your ^bsubstance unto the poor, ye will do it unto me; and they shall be laid before the bishop of my church and his counselors, two of the elders, or high priests, such as he shall appoint or has appointed and set apart for that purpose.
