6  Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

20  And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

18  No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

15  And never have I ashowed myself unto man whom I have created, for never has man believed in me as thou hast. Seest thou that ye are created after mine own image? Yea, even all men were created in the beginning after mine own image.

11  But now mine own eyes have abeheld God; but not my natural, but my spiritual eyes, for my natural eyes could not have beheld; for I should have withered and died in his presence; but his glory was upon me; and I beheld his face, for I was transfigured before him.

10  And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

1  Behold, I say unto you, that you must rely upon my word, which if you do with full purpose of heart, you shall have a view of the plates, and also of the breastplate, the sword of Laban, the Urim and Thummim, which were given to the brother of Jared upon the mount, when he talked with the Lord gface to face, and the miraculous directors which were given to Lehi while in the wilderness, on the borders of the Red Sea.

1  And the Lord aspake unto Moses, saying,

24  And ye said, Behold, the Lord our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.

14  For behold, I could not look upon God, except his aglory should come upon me, and I were transfigured before him. But I can look upon thee in the natural man. Is it not so, surely?
