11  And the bodies of many thousands are laid low in the earth, while the bodies of many thousands are moldering in heaps upon the face of the earth; yea, and many thousands are ^bmourning for the loss of their kindred, because they have reason to fear, according to the promises of the Lord, that they are consigned to a state of endless wo.

  45  Thou shalt live together in love, insomuch that thou shalt ^cweep for the loss of them that die, and more especially for those that have not hope of a glorious resurrection.

  44  But behold I say unto you, love your ^aenemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you;

  12  Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

  17  But Ammon stood forth and said unto him: Behold, thou shalt not slay thy son; nevertheless, it were ^abetter that he should fall than thee, for behold, he has repented of his sins; but if thou shouldst fall at this time, in thine anger, thy soul could not be saved.
