25  Therefore, choose you by the ^avoice of this people, judges, that ye may be judged according to the laws which have been given you by our fathers, which are correct, and which were given them by the hand of the Lord.

  13  And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to ^ajudge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

  18  ^aJudges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

  25  And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and ^ajudges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.

  4  And Amalickiah was desirous to be a king; and those people who were wroth were also desirous that he should be their king; and they were the greater part of them the lower ^bjudges of the land, and they were seeking for power.

  74  Thus shall he be a ^ajudge, even a common judge among the inhabitants of Zion, or in a stake of Zion, or in any branch of the church where he shall be set apart unto this ministry, until the borders of Zion are enlarged and it becomes necessary to have other bishops or judges in Zion or elsewhere.

  12  Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a ^bwise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

  1  Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye ^ajudge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

  41  And it came to pass that they did appoint ^bjudges to rule over them, or to judge them according to the law; and this they did throughout all the land.

  5  Nevertheless, it came to pass that Pahoran was appointed by the ^avoice of the people to be chief judge and a governor over the people of Nephi.
