8  They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they ^aspeak loftily.

  16  These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth ^cspeaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

  11  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of ^bBalaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

  4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having ^eescaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
