35  And I will ^araise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

  1  Verily, thus saith the Lord: Let a conference be held immediately; let the Twelve be organized; and let men be appointed to ^asupply the place of those who are fallen.

  18  And I have given unto him the keys of the mystery of those things which have been sealed, even things which were from the foundation of the world, and the things which shall come from this time until the time of my coming, if he abide in me, and if not, another will I plant in his stead.

  10  And again, I say unto you, that my servant Edward Partridge shall stand in the office whereunto I have appointed him. And it shall come to pass, that if he transgress another shall be appointed in his stead. Even so. Amen.

  40  And even the bishop, who is a judge, and his counselors, if they are not faithful in their stewardships shall be condemned, and others shall be planted in their stead.

  20  For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his ^bbishoprick let another take.

  6  Let my servant John Taylor, and also my servant John E. Page, and also my servant Wilford Woodruff, and also my servant Willard Richards, be appointed to fill the places of those who have ^afallen, and be officially notified of their appointment.
