3  And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and ^bElias talking with him.

  25  But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of ^bElias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

  13  After this vision had closed, another great and glorious vision burst upon us; for ^bElijah the prophet, who was taken to heaven without tasting death, stood before us, and said:

  5  And now, because thou hast done this with such unwearyingness, behold, I will bless thee forever; and I will make thee mighty in word and in deed, in faith and in works; yea, even that all things shall be done unto thee according to thy ^cword, for thou shalt not ask that which is contrary to my will.

  9  And also ^aElijah, unto whom I have committed the keys of the power of turning the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers, that the whole earth may not be smitten with a curse;

  46  And Malachi, the prophet who testified of the coming of ^bElijah—of whom also Moroni spake to the Prophet Joseph Smith, declaring that he should come before the ushering in of the great and dreadful day of the Lord—were also there.
