  2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of avengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

  1  For, behold, the bday cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

  21  And I will execute avengeance and fury upon them, even as upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

  26  But if she observe not to do whatsoever I have commanded her, I will visit her according to all her works, with sore affliction, with pestilence, with plague, with sword, with fvengeance, with devouring fire.
