7  Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

  9  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

  13  For the Lord suffereth the righteous to be slain that his justice and ^bjudgment may come upon the wicked; therefore ye need not suppose that the righteous are lost because they are slain; but behold, they do enter into the rest of the Lord their God.

  3  For I have suffered them thus far, that they might ^afill up the measure of their iniquities, that their cup might be full;

  13  For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the ^bjust in the midst of her,

  10  Yea, and I will suffer even until death, and I will not recall my words, and they shall stand as a testimony against you. And if ye slay me ye will shed ^cinnocent blood, and this shall also stand as a testimony against you at the last day.

  7  Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being ^ainnocent? or where were the righteous cut off?

  13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be ^btempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

  11  And it came to pass that Laman and Lemuel did take me and bind me with cords, and they did treat me with much harshness; nevertheless, the Lord did suffer it that he might show forth his power, unto the fulfilling of his word which he had ^bspoken concerning the wicked.

  9  And thus ended the eleventh year of the judges, the Lamanites having been driven out of the land, and the people of Ammonihah were destroyed; yea, ^bevery living soul of the Ammonihahites was destroyed, and also their great city, which they said God could not destroy, because of its greatness.
