17  Neither shall he multiply ^awives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

  43  David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they were also both of them his ^bwives.

  38  David also received ^amany wives and concubines, and also Solomon and Moses my servants, as also many others of my servants, from the beginning of creation until this time; and in nothing did they sin save in those things which they received not of me.

  3  And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his ^aconcubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.

  9  These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the ^aconcubines, and Tamar their sister.
