37  And the children of Israel ^ajourneyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

  51  And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the Lord did ^abring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

  2  I would that ye should do as I have done, in remembering the captivity of our fathers; for they were in bondage, and none could ^bdeliver them except it was the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and he surely did deliver them in their afflictions.

  15  And many signs, and wonders, and types, and shadows showed he unto them, concerning his coming; and also holy prophets spake unto them concerning his coming; and yet they hardened their hearts, and understood not that the law of Moses availeth nothing except it were through the atonement of his blood.
