1 Nephi 1:13
13 And he read, saying: Wo, wo, unto Jerusalem, for I have seen thine aabominations! Yea, and many things did my father read concerning bJerusalem—that it should be destroyed, and the inhabitants thereof; many should perish by the sword, and many should be ccarried away captive into Babylon.

19  And he did that which was aevil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

14  Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the aabominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the Lord which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

27  I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine aabominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?

27  And the Lord said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city cJerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.

2  And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the dword of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets.

14  And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the Lord: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but adestroy them.

6  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of bJerusalem.

13  Neither did they believe that Jerusalem, that great city, could be bdestroyed according to the words of the prophets. And they were like unto the Jews who were at Jerusalem, who sought to take away the life of my father.

17  For he knew that Jerusalem must be adestroyed, because of the wickedness of the people.

17  Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be acarried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.

15  Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard acarried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.

10  Wherefore, it hath been told them concerning the destruction which should come upon them, immediately after my father left Jerusalem; nevertheless, they hardened their hearts; and according to my prophecy they have been destroyed, save it be those which are ccarried away captive into Babylon.

15  Behold, it came to pass that Mosiah discovered that the people of Zarahemla came out from Jerusalem at the time that Zedekiah, king of Judah, was carried away captive into Babylon.

14  And he acarried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.

  1  Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto bBabylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

4  For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them acaptive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

10  Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to bBabylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

3  That after they should be destroyed, even that great city Jerusalem, and many be carried away captive into cBabylon, according to the own due time of the Lord, they should return again, yea, even be brought back out of captivity; and after they should be brought back out of captivity they should possess again the land of their inheritance.

45  He commenced, and again related the very same things which he had done at his first visit, without the least variation; which having done, he informed me of great judgments which were coming upon the earth, with great desolations by famine, dsword, and pestilence; and that these grievous judgments would come on the earth in this generation. Having related these things, he again ascended as he had done before.
