16  And it came to pass that I, Nephi, being exceedingly young, nevertheless being large in stature, and also having great desires to know of the mysteries of God, wherefore, I did cry unto the Lord; and behold he did ^bvisit me, and did soften my heart that I did believe all the words which had been spoken by my father; wherefore, I did not rebel against him like unto my brothers.

  16  And behold, whosoever believeth on my words, them will I ^bvisit with the manifestation of my Spirit; and they shall be born of me, even of water and of the Spirit—

  27  Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord ^bcomforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success.

  4  What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou ^bvisitest him?
