14  The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the ^fpoor is in your houses.

  12  In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken ^busury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God.

  10  For they know not to do right, saith the Lord, who store up ^aviolence and robbery in their palaces.

  17  Think of your brethren like unto yourselves, and be familiar with all and free with your substance, that ^cthey may be rich like unto you.

  26  And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you—that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God—I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as ^dfeeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants.

  7  Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the ^bhungry.
