13  Nevertheless he cried again, saying: Alma, arise and stand forth, for why persecutest thou the church of God? For the Lord hath said: ^aThis is my church, and I will establish it; and nothing shall overthrow it, save it is the transgression of my people.

  23  And he commandeth all men that they must repent, and be ^bbaptized in his name, having perfect faith in the Holy One of Israel, or they cannot be saved in the kingdom of God.
