6  And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the ^benduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

  9  ^aPersecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

  20  Nevertheless, he that ^aendureth in faith and doeth my will, the same shall overcome, and shall receive an inheritance upon the earth when the day of transfiguration shall come;

  17  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's ^asake.

  13  And whoso ^alayeth down his life in my cause, for my name's sake, shall find it again, even life eternal.
