2  For behold, I speak unto you with sharpness and with power, for mine arm is over all the earth.

  17  ^aThou shalt not hate thy brother in thine ^aheart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

  18  Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth ^creproof shall be honoured.

  6  Faithful are the ^awounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

  26  And ye have murmured because he hath been plain unto you. Ye say that he hath used sharpness; ye say that he hath been angry with you; but behold, his ^bsharpness was the sharpness of the power of the word of God, which was in him; and that which ye call anger was the truth, according to that which is in God, which he could not restrain, manifesting boldly concerning your iniquities.

  27  And it must needs be that the power of God must be with him, even unto his commanding you that ye must obey. But behold, it was not he, but it was the ^bSpirit of the Lord which was in him, which opened his mouth to utterance that he could not shut it.

  7  And also it grieveth me that I must use so much ^aboldness of speech concerning you, before your wives and your children, many of whose feelings are exceedingly tender and chaste and delicate before God, which thing is pleasing unto God;

  17  For behold, king Benjamin was a holy man, and he did reign over his people in righteousness; and there were many holy men in the land, and they did speak the word of God with power and with authority; and they did use much ^csharpness because of the stiffneckedness of the people—

  4  Behold, I am laboring with them continually; and when I speak the word of God with ^asharpness they tremble and anger against me; and when I use no sharpness they harden their hearts against it; wherefore, I fear lest the Spirit of the Lord hath ceased striving with them.

  2  Behold, I am God; give heed unto my word, which is quick and powerful, ^bsharper than a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of both joints and marrow; therefore give heed unto my words.
