24  Put away from thee a ^afroward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

  27  Where is ^aboasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

  24  Talk not of judgments, neither ^aboast of faith nor of mighty works, but carefully gather together, as much in one region as can be, consistently with the feelings of the people;

  4  For although a man may have many revelations, and have power to do many mighty works, yet if he ^cboasts in his own strength, and sets at naught the counsels of God, and follows after the dictates of his own will and carnal desires, he must fall and incur the vengeance of a just God upon him.

  33  Not with railing accusation, that ye be not overcome, neither with ^bboasting nor rejoicing, lest you be seized therewith.
