4  But in all things approving ourselves as the ^aministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

  10  But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I ^blaboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

  23  And when they had laid many ^astripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

  10  Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of ^bsuffering affliction, and of patience.

  29  And we have entered into their houses and taught them, and we have taught them in their streets; yea, and we have taught them upon their hills; and we have also entered into their temples and their synagogues and taught them; and we have been cast out, and mocked, and spit upon, and smote upon our cheeks; and we have been ^bstoned, and taken and bound with strong cords, and cast into prison; and through the power and wisdom of God we have been delivered again.

  9  ^aPersecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
