19  And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and ^areasoned with the Jews.

  2  But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to ^bspeak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.

  1  And it came to pass after he had made an end of speaking unto the people many of them did believe on his words, and began to repent, and to search the ^ascriptures.
